Yes it’s true winter has arrived in the South Island of New Zealand. The Remarkables and Coronet Peak Ski Areas www.nzski.com have received up to 40cm of new snow in the last 24 hrs and it is still snowing. This is a great way to kick start the winter as Queenstown starts to ready itself for the Queenstown Winter Festival www.winterfestival.co.nz which is due to start on the 25^th of June.
